UIDAI's Biometrics SDK Benchmarking Challenge 2025, run in collaboration with IIIT-Hyderabad, drew 2,106 applications and tested fingerprint matching against a long-term dataset of children first enrolled between ages five and ten and resampled five to ten years later. It is one of the hardest problems in the field: biometric templates drift as children grow, and matching reliably across that gap is where most systems break. BioChQ was selected as one of three finalists for the final evaluation, and the only Indian company among them, alongside Neurotechnology and Innovatrics.
